The work environment is typically “tool explosion”. Talking with our customers, a lot of the time they don’t even know it is “tool explosion” until they analyze just the sheer amount of tools they use at work. This is not a problem, in fact this is great, as a range of tools means that you are choosing the best tools for the job. One of the side effects of this is these damn information silos that make it just so hard to get the right information, the right people and the right answers at work.
Enter the new Integration Center from cluedin. We introduced this new feature to give our customers an idea of how often we sync data from their services and when we have queued up new requests to fetch new data. We will improve this over time to actually show you definitive numbers of how much new data we are pulling from your different integrations. This will help you gauge where is all the work happening in your organization and what tools does this reside in. For us personally, it helped us realize that no-one in the company was using our Trello or Asana accounts anymore. We simply unplugged these providers, knowing that all the data we did have in there was still in cluedin.
The Integration Center will also allow you to fix issues that may have arose from expired authentication tokens with the services you have already plugged in.
Our future intentions with this Integration Center are a little “under-wraps” but for us it feels ground breaking.
